Autocost – a new update improves the placement of stretch fabrics

The current version of Autocost, the order optimization program on Automarker.com, saves a lot of time in the placement process. This is achieved by new laying instructions for materials with a high percentage of stretch, for instance: where only short, marker-related segments were planned in the past, segment spacings now mean that the entire length of the laying table can be used. This significantly reduces the timeframe for setting up the laying table, without inhibiting the relaxation of the material.

During preproduction, Automarker and Autocost support the setting of the final course for the economic success of a product – because structured placement and the optimization of orders significantly reduce process time and the use of materials, which is one of the main cost factors in garment production.
