Dorothee Bär, German State Minister for Digitalization, visits Assyst project partner MAC

On April 29, 2019, Dorothee Bär, German Minister of State for digitalization, visited the MAC fashion company in Wald/Roßbach, where she was shown the company’s digitalization program – and Assyst supported MAC with the company’s presentation of the concept for digital product development.

For many years now, MAC has been one of the economically strongest companies in its region, pursuing the goal of implementing its long-term growth strategy in a sustainable and solid manner. Digitalization is one of the company’s main goals – and in the long term, MAC intends to digitalize its complete process chain for pants, from the idea and development to production, sales and shipping. Assyst supports MAC in the development and implementation of its future strategy and helped to present the joint project to Ms. Bär.

Thanks to 3D Vidya technology, processes from design through product development to the digital showroom can be accelerated and raised to a new level of quality. During her visit, the Minister was impressed by MAC and Assyst’s joint demonstration of the opportunities digitalization is opening up for the apparel industry.
