Vidya Award 2018 presented

At the Fashion Forum in Munich, Assyst presented the Vidya Award 2018. This competition is intended to prepare pupils and students who are studying clothing technology for the requirements of the industry in a practical manner – and because fashion design today is mainly carried out digitally at the computer, creativity and the skills to work with different software programs are especially in demand.

More and more apparel companies are introducing 3D into their product development. Young professionals who have already learned how to use 3D during their training are particularly valuable to these companies, because employees usually have to learn how to work with the new technologies from the outset. The combination of young, fresh minds and experienced employees breaking fresh ground together is very interesting for many companies. This increases the chances of a good start in the profession for Vidya Award participants – and the Vidya Award competition lays the foundation for this.
